The only other option you have is to repair the problem yourself and you can do this by using an Xbox 360 repair guide. There are a few of them about online and you should have no trouble finding one, however if you are going to attempt this make sure you get a repair guide with videos and a full guarantee so if it does not work you have not lost anything.
Some of the best repair guides will just tell you how to stop the build up of heat getting to the GPU and the CPU which are the main processors on the motherboard.
